We see reducing our plastic consumption as a very important responsibility. Tourism operators should be taking steps to lead the way in actively reducing our impacts on the environment. Vanuatu is a global leader in removing single use plastics from the country. We want to build on this and continue to push for reductions across the resort.
Plastic Water Bottle Free
Tamanu has been plastic water bottle free since 2019. Our drinking water is filtered and regularly tested so guests can be assured of safety.. We do not sell any drinks in plastic bottles on site.
Reducing our consumption
We have partnered with suppliers that enable us to refill our high use items for example laundry detergents. .
